Dual-stimulation vibrators, often called "rabbit" style, are marketed as the answer to everything. They're popular for a reason, but that reason isn't "one size fits all," and it's worth understanding what you're actually choosing.
What they're good at
Simultaneous internal and external stimulation, which for many people is exactly the combination that works. The external arm handles clitoral stimulation while the shaft handles internal, independently controlled on most models.
What they're not
They're not automatically "better" than a single-focus toy. Fit matters more than feature count, a dual-stim toy with the wrong curve or a nub in the wrong spot won't outperform a well-shaped single-purpose one.
What actually matters when choosing one
Independent controls for each motor, adjustable angle or a flexible neck, and realistic expectations about size, bigger isn't automatically more effective. Start with what you already know feels good, then look for a shape that matches it.
